It seems difficult to have an election

Governor Bhagat Singh Kosari has not yet decided on the recommendation of the cabinet.  In such a situation, if he rejects the proposal, Uddhav Thackeray will have only two options.  First, soon after the lockdown ends on May 3, the Election Commission will announce the elections for the vacant seats of the Legislative Council and complete the election process before 27 May and declare the results so that the Chief Minister can become a member of the House as an elected member.  .  However, elections are finding difficult due to the Corona crisis.

The entire cabinet will have to resign ...

Uddhav Thackeray will have to resign in the event of Legislative Council elections and then take oath again.  However, a big trick in this process is that all the powers of the cabinet are vested in the Chief Minister.  It's also a current news of india, If the Chief Minister resigns from his post, the entire cabinet will have to resign and all ministers will have to take oath again.
